Default GW Newsletters???

So is Anet ever going to actually utilize/use/release these newsletters, or are they just "another part of the GW2 vaporware?"

You could always ask them... Demanding info can go a long way..

Good point, I often wonder what was the point of even signing up.

I thought the point of a newsletter was that they provided new information on a fairly regular basis. The latest newsletter being about a year old raises many questions and concerns.

But then again, thats anet for you, obtaining information is a sin.

I think the Newsletter doesn't fit their current strategy anymore or at least not at this time.

To be honnest I don't know much about it, always checked guru for news.

For sake of comparison, I subscribed to the Spore Newsletter early 2006 and first received a newsletter mid 2008.

The point of subscribing to the newsletter is when there is some information you will hear about it via email (which you presumably check anyway), so don't have to waste your time checking the website and forums every day.

I don't really care as long as they place news on the main site.
Before I start playing I always check the main site, guru and that other forum site.
I just hope they get a new scribe when GW2 goes online, I really liked the way we were informed about new features with hints.

It's like the scribe.... I think with the economy woes his travel budget was scrapped.. or his consumables budget and he ran out of ink for his quill.....

Used to enjoy the writings of the scribe, light hearted now and again...
